Random Things

Ok, my lake of sleep has to be getting worse. Last night I was only able to get in 2 hours of sleep. I am running on empty right now. I don't know if it is because of this deployment or something else. I wish I knew what it was.

Well, I called work last night. It was cool to get to talk to a few of my co-workers. Of course they like to lie by telling me they can find noone that is able to work on the press I was on. I must admit, it makes me fell a little better. Upon my return I hope to get the move up to Roll Tender, I think I deserve it. I do believe I work relatively hard at my job.

My daughter's first birthday is coming up in 3 months. I am looking forward to it. I am really happy because I will be home for this. I have already missed so much. First Christmas, first word, crawling, standing up, talking, and more than likely I will miss first tooth and first step. It hurts knowing I have missed all these things.

Well, once again the threat level is up here in Kuwait. All travel is no permanently buisness oriented with everyone in the vehicle carring a weapon. It used to just be at least two, but now whoever goes must carry one. I still feel bad that my brothers-in-arms are over in Iraq and here I am complaining about Kuwait.

Well I must get going for I have some work to do before I get off. Love ya though.
