A little Overdue

Once again I apologize for being late on my blogging. Not to much is going on here. I now have 32 days left until I leave for my two weeks R & R. I can't wait. It seems like the time just keeps slowing down for me. My daughter now can say these words:

why
bye
dada
stop
mine

I am so proud of my daughter. I can't wait to get home so I can see her again. Well I will leave you now so you can go and read something more interesting than my blog.

Wow, What A Flight

Well, I went on my first Black Hawk helicopter flight the other day. We flew with the doors open which was cool. Man was it ever cold. Now I know what the desert is really like. You see a lot of sand, a shepard on a donkey with his sheep, wild camels everywhere, and people that live out in the desert in the middle of nowhere. How they live like that I will never know. Other than that, not much has happened lately. I know have 37 days until I leave for R & R. Can't wait for that to come.

Neglecting My Responsibilities

I am sorry I have been neglecting everyone. Kuwait has been a mad house lately. Thank god the surge is almost over.

Well, time for some updates. We had a new soldier come to the Arms Room, which is a plus. Now that he is here I am looking into changing jobs and going to the awards section (ASB). Hopefully that will work out for me.

I know have just a little over a month before I go home for R & R. It just isn't coming fast enough. The time seems to have slowed down. I am in real need of those two weeks. I need to get my head straight. I would really like to get out of this depressing mood I have been in for four months now. Hopefully the R & R will take care of that.

Not much else is going on, so I will leave you with a thought. When is a door not a door?

What A Bummer

That's it, the Super Bowl is over. Yet I did not like the way it ended. I was actually rooting for the Eagles. But it was not meant to be. Oh well, my Denver Broncos will come back and win it all next year.

Not much has been going on here lately. Just the same old stuff. The threat level was once again raised here in Kuwait. My time to go home for R & R is steadily approaching. Man I can't wait to see my family again.

I do have one question for everyone out there. Why is it that the civilian contractors for the military make a hell of a lot more money than the soldiers who risk there lives for our country? I do not get that.

I did recieve some good news though about a week and a half ago. My wife moved us into a nice house. She is really excited too. That is all she talks about is the house. I think it is great, even though we already knew about it. My cousin was the last to live there, but they found a bigger place.

Well I must be going for now.
